In our collaboration with the Vedanta Wisdom Trust, we focused on enhancing the digital accessibility of Vedanta teachings through a meticulously crafted website, https://vedantawisdom.in/journals . The project's cornerstone was the development of a secure, engaging, and educational platform tailored to disseminate the trust's journals while addressing copyright and piracy concerns effectively. Secure Journal Display: To circumvent the risks associated with distributing PDFs and to protect the intellectual property of Vedanta teachings, we innovated an image-based solution. This approach allowed us to display journal content securely on our custom reader page, mitigating piracy concerns and ensuring that the teachings could be shared responsibly and safely. Responsive and User-Friendly Design: The website boasts a responsive design that adapts seamlessly across devices, paired with user-friendly navigation to facilitate easy access to a wealth of Vedanta resources. This includes an online journal repository, subscription services, and interactive learning tools designed to engage and educate users. Flexible Subscription Options: Recognizing the diverse needs of the trust's followers, we introduced two distinct subscription options. This flexibility allows users to choose the level of access that best suits their interests and commitment to learning Vedanta philosophy. Integrated Payment Solutions: To streamline the subscription process and facilitate donations, we integrated popular payment gateways, Razorpay and Freecharge, into the site. This integration offers a secure and convenient payment experience for users, encouraging more subscriptions and support for the trust's mission. Additional Feature: Payments Dashboard for Administrators To further enhance the operational efficiency and management capabilities of the Vedanta Wisdom Trust's website, we developed a comprehensive payments dashboard for administrators. This dashboard is a critical backend tool designed to provide the trust's administrators with full control over the payment and subscription processes. Key Functions of the Payments Dashboard: Payment Status Management: Administrators can easily view, update, and manage the status of payments, enabling them to swiftly address any issues or discrepancies that may arise. Subscription Oversight: The dashboard allows for detailed monitoring and management of user subscriptions, ensuring that administrators can keep track of active, pending, and expired subscriptions. Security Controls: With functionalities to deny or block payments, the dashboard enhances the security of the platform by allowing administrators to take immediate action against fraudulent or suspicious transactions. User-Friendly Interface: Designed with usability in mind, the dashboard provides a straightforward and intuitive interface that simplifies the complexities of payment and subscription management.
